2018 Slurry Seal
Slurry seal provides a new protective wearing surface to an existing asphalt street. By sealing the surface of the street, the base of the road is protected from water damage and the surface is protected from weathering significantly extending the lifespan of the road.
Status Updates
11/14/2018 - Punchlist items completed and project has been closed out.
10/10/2018 - A few punchlist items remain. Contractor is scheduled to come in this weekend.
09/12/2018 - Contractor continuining to work on punchlist items.
08/08/2018 - Project is substantially completed. Contractor to work on punchlist items.
06/05/2018 - Project tentatively scheduled to begin 7/14.
04/09/2018 - Contract has been signed. Construction anticipated to begin in July.
03/05/2018 - Bid opening was held 01/31/2018 and a low responsive bidder was selected. Contract to be reviewed for award by Council on 03/19/2018.
12/18/2017 - The project is in final design and budget phase. The project is scheduled to be advertised for bid in early 2018.
1/18/2018 - Advertisement for Bid published. Bid opening is scheduled for 01/31/2018.
