Construction of sidewalk along the north side of Cedaroak Drive from Trillium to Old River Road for access to Cedaroak Park Primary. In addition to the sidewalk, the project will include storm water planters with trees, the centering the Trillium intersection within the right-of-way, and repaving of Cedaroak. There will also be a Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon (RRFB) at the crossing at Trillium and sidewalk to connect to the bike path and bridge to Kenthorpe Way. Sign-up for Email Updates

Status Updates

9/30/2024- Trees and shrubs to be planted in stormwater facilities. Project close out tasks to be completed this week.

9/2/2024- Planting of stormwater facilities expected in early October.

8/12/2024- Paving expected later this week. Following paving RRFB remains to be installed and repair work will be done to some sidewalk panels.

8/5/2024- Crews have been pouring driveways and ADA ramps throughout the project. Sidewalk has been installed at the south side near Trillium and the contractor has poured the bases for storm water catch-basins. Next week, crews will begin installing the curb along the north side of Cedaroak Drive and begin work on the sidewalk. Paving is expected the week after.

7/16/2024- Crews will be doing utility locates and marking over the next few days and the contractor will begin mobilizing in equipment on 7/18.

7/9/2024- City staff attended RNA meeting to go over plans and answer questions.

6/26/2024- City staff met with contractor and work expected to begin 7/10. Contractor will be bringing in supplies and equipment and removing brush from the construction area. 

6/17/2024- Construction contract approved by City Council.
