Status Updates
5/1/2023- Awaiting sanitary sewer CCTV for HDPE section. Paving expected when weather permits.
10/03/2022- Substantially completed utility installations.
5/2/2022 - Work continues to progress slowly, schedule update requested from contractor
2/17/2022 - Work continues slowly on the stormwater utilities
12/22/2021 - Progress meeting held with contractor, design engineer and developer. Contractor to provide a schedule for remaining work.
12/21/2021 - Majority of underground utilities installed. Contractor to start utility testing then install curb.
03/08/2021 - Infrastructure plans approved by the City. Structural fill activities continue.
02/02/2021 - Stop Work order lifted. Extensive structural fill required for development. Residents should expect extensive truck traffic entering and leaving the project until fill activities have ceased. Amount of truck activity will depend on construction activities on site. Infrastructure construction anticipated to continue through at least summer of 2021, followed by home construction.
01/11/2021 - The City has issued a Stop Work order for the site related to hauling for fill material that has not been evaluated and approved for use the future right-of-way. Infrastructure plans have not yet been approved by the City. The City is waiting for a resubmittal from the applicant. In spite of the Stop Work Order, the contractor can continue to improve on erosion control measures and site cleanup.
10/27/2020 - After consulting with the City Attorney's office, the City will be issuing an erosion control permit which will allow the contractor to install erosion control measures, perform some grading and start the process of getting a tree removal permit for tree removal. The applicant anticipates submitting revised infrastructure plans the week of November 2nd to comply with the Final Decision and Order dated 10/15/2020.
10/13/2020 - Awaiting completion of land use extension application. Revised plans required per Council decision 10/12/2020 - AP-20-03
07/20/2020 - No permits have been issued for construction. Construction cannot commence until permits have been issued.
06/29/2020 - Staff waiting on required construction performance bond to be submitted by developer.
05/28/2020 - Staff working with developer and City Attorney's office on submittals necessary to begin construction.
03/06/2020 - No date set for construction to begin. New pre-construction meeting required. On hold by developer.
12/11/2019 - No date set for construction to begin. On hold until further notice.
09/25/2019 - Construction on hold until DEQ 401 certification obtained.
09/03/2019 - Construction equipment may start showing up on site during the first week of September. Actual construction start date still to be determined.
08/26/2019 - Pre-construction meeting held.
01/08/2019 - Construction plans approved. No start date scheduled.
11/14/2018 - Plans are approved. Waiting for pre-construction meeting request.
10/10/2018 - Construction drawings approved. No preconstruction meeting scheduled.
09/12/2018 - Working on 2nd plan review.
08/08/2018 - Currently reviewing construction designs. Waiting on 2nd submittal.
