Lake Oswego Tigard Transmission Main
The project is part of a large, multi-jurisdictional project to increase treated water capacity for the residents in Lake Oswego and Tigard. A pipeline will be necessary to convey water to and from the WTP. Pipeline will be under a separate Conditional Use and Public Improvement Permits. The City of West Linn is providing ongoing inspections to ensure among other things that erosion control measures are in place and closely monitored.

07/20/2016 - Construction complete and project closed.
03/10/2016 - Coordination meeting between Brown & Caldwell, Cullucio, and City regarding erosion control measures necessary for permanent stabilzation at close out of this portion of project.
02/29/2016 - Finish waterline has been tied in, refilled, and re-flushed. Bacteria samples were taken for routine water testing. Crews setting manholes for access on Mapleton near Hwy 43.
01/26/2016 - Crews are breaking down staging area on the lot with temporary use permit in preparation for permit to expire on 02/08/2016. Type 3 barricade removed on Mapleton at intersection with Nixon Ave. Smaller "No thru traffic" sign placed further up Mapleton.
01/11/2016 - Installed 48" welded steel pipe up to 3990 Mapleton Dr. Working on finish water pipe to water treatment plant connection.
12/04/2015 - Installing sanitary sewer manhole for sewer realignment. Excavating receiving pit for pipe installation for Trillium Creek crossing. Two work areas are active on Mapleton.
12/02/2015 - Sewer realignment in progress.
11/09/2015 - 50 feet 48" finish water pipe installed along water treatment plant frontage.
10/15/2015 - Installed transition stick of welded steel water pipe (46" to 42"); 42" pipe to connect to water treatment pipe.
10/07/2015 - Installation of 46" welded steel water pipe continues to be installed on Mapleton Dr.
09/28/2015 - Excavating and setting shoring/trench box on Mapleton Dr. in preparation for installation of 46" raw water welded steel pipe.
09/15/2015 - Ongoing installation of 46" welded steel pipe. Certified welder on site welding pipe joint.
05/27/2015 - Coordination meeting with West Linn PD regarding possible locations for road widening; began tree trimming and removals.
04/01/2015 - On site visit with residents regarding tree removals; review of 18" intertie piping installation on Old River/Mapleton.
12/08/2014 - Coordination meeting between City, LOT, ODOT, and Murray, Smith, & Associates (construction liaison services).
04/12/2014 - Public Improvement Engineering Review and Construction Permit is complete. LOT is waiting for final as-built of City's in-progress Mapleton Waterline Replacement capital project before construction can move forward.
11/07/2013 - Public Improvement Engineering Permit review underway; comments have been provided to developer and City is waiting on revised and updated submissions.
10/10/2013 - Public Improvement Engineering and Construction Permit under review. Onsite construction is under separate LOTWTP permit.
10/03/2013 - Public Improvement Permit issued
