Building Division Hours

West Linn Building Division is PAPERLESS!!!!

The City of West Linn Building Department service desk is located on the first floor of City Hall.   

Counter Hours: (Holidays Excluded)

Monday through Thursday 9:00 -12:00 p.m.

Closed every Friday    

The West Linn Building Division reviews residential, commercial, and industrial plans, and issues structural, mechanical, plumbing, manufactured dwellings, grading/fill, and demo permits.  Inspection requests received through the self-service phone system or web portal prior to 7 a.m., will be handled the same day.  Due to the high volume of inspections we can no longer do a.m. or p.m. preferences.  Please put any special requests (i.e. time frames, call with an ETA etc.)  in the comments field when scheduling your inspection and inspectors will do what they can to accomodate.

The City of West Linn Building Department inspection services are available by appointment only.  In order to schedule an appointment the City of West Linn provides an online option or a recorded message option.

Home Owners: Please go to the Documents page and download the appropriate permit application then email it to abloomfield@westlinnoregon.gov or abernert@westlinnoregon.gov

*City Hall is closed every other Friday

Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
