The City of West Linn’s financial goals seek to:

-Establish more consistency in making financial decisions.

-Create a statement of purpose that becomes prescriptive. 

-Identify strengths and weaknesses in the overall financial system.

-Establish a standard operating procedure to guide day-to-day activities of the City's financial operation.

-Provide a standard of performance of the City's financial operation.

-Improve the City's bond rating, which can ultimately save the City money.
